El torneo resultó muy igualado y competido entre los 8 primeros clasificados. Vercher perdió la primera aunque recuperó bien, empatando en la 3ª plaza. Además fue determinante pues en la última ronda se impuso al hasta entonces sorprendente líder, Peinado. En la última ronda, Torres, Amador, Peinado y Romeu se disputaban los primeros puestos. Peinado perdió con Vercher, Torres tablas poco luchadas con Mateu y la decisiva Romeu-Amador, cuando parecía que ganaba Romeu, Amador se impuso sorprendentemente.
